Business account recovery, as a playbook

Account Recovery Playbook Ready to run

18-platform recovery methodology

A playbook for recovering locked or hijacked business accounts. Eighteen revenue platforms covered, generalized from a real recovery that took eight weeks.

What it is

A business gets locked out of its own marketplace seller account, payment processor or social presence. The platform's help center is a maze designed to say no. This is the methodology that gets through: which intake channels actually accept evidence, what documents pass ownership review the first time and how to keep a case alive until a human looks at it.

It covers eighteen platforms across marketplaces, payment processors, social and app stores. Each has an intake path, an evidence checklist and an escalation ladder. Everything generalizes from a real engagement that ran eight weeks and closed in a day once the case reached the right queue.

The method: the dossier first, then the channel, then the ladder

Under the hood

Where it came from

One hijacked business account, eight weeks of dead ends and a working process at the end of it. The playbook is that process written down while it was fresh. The core lesson: platforms rarely refuse to restore access, they refuse incomplete evidence. Get the dossier right and the maze has a floor.

Working on something like this?

One sentence about the problem is enough.
